Final Fantasy IV is a classic. Its story is interesting, the gameplay is fun, and this new PC / 3d remake made it even more interesting. It added voice acted cutscenes, augment addons, and cute 3d chibi characters. And....it's pretty broken too! =) Come along with Cecil, a dark knight and our main protagonist, as he explores the world, questioning everything he's ever known about his life and the world at large. He'll make many new friends and (spoilers) lose some too along the way. But in the end, find out who he truly is and how to make the world a safe place again for everyone. The cool (and fast) thing about this category is that we start with a glitched save file that gives us an augment, Safe Travel. This allows us to skip all encounters for the whole run. The game is pretty broken so we get to take advantage of several glitches and do some RNG manipulations as well. We also get to skip some of the extra questing in the Any% category since we already have the Safe Travel augment. The submission video I have should have timestamps with points of interest. Would love to showcase this for LASS!

Yohane the Parhelion: Blaze in the Deepblue is an explore-em-up/metroidvania based on the spinoff anime to Love Live! Sunshine!!. A mysterious dungeon has appeared in the waters near Numazu and Yohane's friends have disappeared! She must brave the randomness and enemies of the dungeon to rescue her friends and solve the mystery.

Exiled from his Yakuza family Michi is left in a cursed town helping a living severed finger named Pinky Manage her anger issues and a Mascot Agency while cleaning up and solving the mystery of the the town did I mention you can launch Pinky like a missile at Garbage? Oh and there is also a card battling system.

Yars Rising (2024) is a metroidvania love letter to the Atari 2600 game Yars Revenge (1982), as well as other classic Atari games. You play as Emi Kimura, a happy-go-lucky hacker, on a mission to infiltrate the offices of tech giant QoTech.
The Emi's Hacklist IL collections trades out the story mode's metroidvania platforming and shooting for a speedrun of exclusively hacking minigames, in the style of Atari classics. Star Collection is a focus-intensive, fast-paced speedrun which makes for a fun challenge through 59 Atari-inspired minigames with gameplay styled after Atari's 1982 title Yars Revenge.

Super Mario Odyssey Any% entails beating the main story portion of the game as quickly as possible by any means necessary. This means we route together and grab the quickest 124 moons in the game. Timing starts on "Start" after loading a new file and ends after leaving the final wire in Moon Kingdom

Talkatoo% is a category extension where you must beat the main story of the game, but all of your moons must come from the hint bird "Talkatoo". This makes every run different, and allows for routing on the fly.

All Story Moons is very similar to World Peace, but with the requirement of collecting all of the story moons in the game. This makes for a much more thorough completion of the game without any sequence breaks.
